The 4WD Brush Rover by Orec is truly a beast of a machine – making easy work of clearing the toughest of brush. This ride-on brush mower can tackle tall, dense brush with minimal physical demand. The 4WD Brush Rover is specifically designed to effectively take on dense brush and challenging terrain that can often cause significant damage to other mowers. Just like the 2WD Brush Rover, this 4WD riding brush mower is equipped with two flail blades on either end of the center blade stay to give you all the cutting power you’ve come to love, with even more strength and stability to be able to safely conquer brush on slopes and harder to reach areas. Brush cutting has never been easier than it is with the Brush Rover.
The 2WD is sufficient for slopes of 15 degrees or less. The 4WD is required for slopes 15-20 degrees.
The Brush Rover is a brush-cutting machine that is fast, easy, and fun to use! It has a low center of gravity and locking differential to provide powerful traction on slopes. The hydrostatic drive gives you the variable speed control with one lever, combined with a locking differential to operate the rough-terrain tires in tandem, improving traction. It has 2 reversible blades to rough cut mulch waste (fasteners for blades are one-time use and must be replaced when the blade is reversed). The comfortable seat is adjustable forward and backward to ensure operator comfort and improve safety, along with a seat belt. The Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) collapses down to reduce the height for clearance, but should otherwise be operated in the upright locked position. The front-end is equipped with a knock down bumper in the front to help protect the machine and also has headlights to improve visibility. Vanguard V-Twin engine provides all the power the machine needs and is equipped with an electric starter and key.
Saplings: Up to 1 3/4? diameter
Slope: 4WD up to 20 degrees, 2WD up to 15 degrees
Productivity: 4WD up to 2.16 Acres per Hour, 2WD up to 2.58 Acres per Hour.
